The three Perkins children Peter, Pam and Piper join their father Flap Foot the Clown, their mother, a former bareback rider, and their circus performing pets Oscar the Donkey, Patchwork and Crazy Quilt, and dogs Mick and Mac, on an idyllic adventure with a traveling circus.
Moderate foxing to endpapers, owner's name and date (1953) first paste-down endpaper, bright and crisp internally, tightly bound, square, bright illustration front board with a bit of rubbing and glue staining to edges, a very good and pleasing copy.
