The Fischer King's Gambit (Signed)

Los Angeles: Timothy Taylor, 2016.
Hardcover.

Presentation copy signed by the author on the half-title.

A scarce copy of chess master Timothy Taylor's self-published book on Bobby Fischer's response to the King's Gambit as an opening move. From the author's note on the rear panel: "This book presents a complete repertoire for White, after the initial King's Gambit moves of 1.e4e52.f4, based on Bobby Fischer's play and writings. All Black responses are covered: the Accepted, the Declined, and the Counter Gambit variations. Of these only the Accepted is critical. White should play 3.Bc4! always chosen by Fischer. My research and analysis - and most important, practical play - has demonstrated that after this move Black has no clear path to equality (and certainly no advantage!) while White can play for a win in every line."
