A cruel giant living on a very big and tall mountain overlooking a small valley with farms and a small village forces those below him to do his bidding and is ultimately made small by his unkindness to others - while a gentle little man from the village is made giant by his kindness to the people around him. The motto of the story: "So let us all follow Gentle Giant and let him show us his beautiful, bright mountain of Kindness and Love."

Small stain top-edge of leaves, very faint stain upper corner first two leaves, a bit of very mild toning to edges of cloth and leaves, clean of owner's marks, tight, a very good copy of this very rare and charming illustrated fable.
