Illustrated in full color with twenty-eight rare examples of Japanese woodblock prints by seventeen great masters of the art. Title in black and terra cotta, page of limitation and divisional titles in terra cotta, handset with Type Lutetia, white title label printed in terra cotta with device in black and white.

10-1/2 x 15", quarter black cloth, decorated terra cotta and white paper over boards, Grabhorn introduction, 92pp , 28 numbered plates in color (one fold-out, one double spread), the plates are not included in pagination.

Two small faint stains first free endpaper, else a clean, square, crisp, a very fine copy in very good original red dust wrapper with spine fading and rubbing to edges, including a 2-1/2" swath of top layer paper top-edge of rear panel with one short tear, in protective mylar.
