Dedicated to the author's brother Zane Grey "who made these adventures possible." Introduction by Zane Grey. With a poem by the book's editor Millicent Smith entitled "Tale of an Angler."
Romer Grey accompanied his brother Zane on many deep-sea fishing excursions around the world. In Adventures of a Deep-Sea Angler, he recounts his adventures with Zane fishing for big fish - including sailfish, tuna, mackerel, marlin, swordfish, broadbill, dolphin, mako, and shark - in the South Seas and beyond. On one such outing, Romer landed the world's record broadbill at 588 pounds.
